Chameleon Beads are a hit!

Pin It Since the release of the June issue of Bead and Button, I have had orders coming in for my Chameleon beads. I'm frantically torching away at every opportunity to replace beads that have sold and to attempt to build up stock so as not to run out. I have some beads that I made this week that came out great. Just need to clean them up and will be posting new pics on my site hopefully by the end of the weekend ;-).

Hi Lea,

I finally got around to reading the June issue of Bead & Button. Congratulations again on getting your piece highlighted! I had fun reading your blog, and seeing your studio was fun too. How amazing that you can do the work you do in such a small space! I'll keep watching for the photos of your chameleon beads.

I have an idea for a clasp for lariats, and it's been months I have been trying to get to it. Your plastic straw is the inspiration for it. I took a closer look at your necklace at the Bead and Button Magazine webpage, and now that I can finally look at something besides the clasp, I see you used crystals in the lariat. I had a class with Jeannette Cook last month and she saw some of my bead crochet. She mentioned one of her students had put crystals in the tube and it looked great to her. I haven't tried it yet, as I wonder if they would cut the thread. Only one way to find out...

Hey Gail!
I don't know how I missed your post, my friend! Oh well, I guess if I was more consistent about blogging, I might've seen it, LOL. Thanks for stopping by :-)!
